Play is the heart of Nursery Curriculum.
Children learn as they play with materials and share experiences with other children and teachers. We provide ample opportunities for children to learn through activities. The theme based teaching helps the children to learn the concepts.
Communication is simply the act of conveying information from a person or a group to others. Our teachers help the children to communicate confidently. It improves pronunciation language skills and reading habits.
Children converse with their peers and teachers in simple and short sentences. This helps in their vocabulary and improvement of language.
It develops the power of observation and improves their attention level. The body language and the sign language help the children to register the impressions and exercise of the mind. It improves visual discrimination.
Concept helps the children to learn the basic principles. Helps in language development and communication skills i.e., "This", "these", "that", "those", "a" , "an", "in", "on", "under", "near", "far" and so on.
Children understand the concept of numbers with the help of materials such as threading the beads and numerical rods. Numbers become concrete and meaningful. Arraying and building blocks help in developing Mathematical exercise.
Playing with geo-shapes strengthen the power of observation and and the ability to recognize and classify them. The basic concepts learnt here will be very useful for their higher course of learning Mathematics.
Children learn to solve the problem in the beginning by using objects and later on able to solve simple sums mentally. They learn to solve in logical way and in simple method by using the objects.
Any learning with visualization is more effective. Children are shown video pictures, along with teaching in the classroom. One of the effective means of language learning is story narration. Stories are narrated through audio visuals.
The children become aware of things around them such as plants, animals and learn to preserve the nature and also to know how important the Environmental nature. To encourage this Environment day and Vanamahotsava are celebrated in the school.
Children are taken out for a day’s picnic and they enjoy going with friends and teachers and seeing things which they have learnt in the school in the company of their friends and teachers. This is rather a feast to them.
The Nursery rhymes and other songs are sung in melodious tunes to attract the children’s attention and making them to sing the rhymes in such melodious tunes. Towards this learning slokas, helps not only in pronunciation but developing memory capacity in children.
This helps the children to improve their imagination and creativity. Identification of colours and fine motor skills are developed. The fingers are exercised and they develop flexibility in the use of fingers.
Children learn about our country and the great leaders. So Independence day, children’s day and Republic day are celebrated in the school.
Thereby they learn about the significance of the occasions. Flag hoisting, National anthem, National songs are sung and on these occasions they dress up as freedom fighters as a mark of love and give respect to our country.
This art instills in them the regard for the characters they identify in their fancy dress. Also they pretty in these costumes which enthuses the children towards the fancy dress.
The children speak or describe an object like fruits, animals birds etc,. This helps creativity, and the language in their presentation.
Children come to know about our culture by celebrating festivals like Krishna Janmastami, Dussara, Ganesha Chaturti, Deepavali and Sankranti etc,. On these occasions Classrooms are decorated and children feel the ambience of festive mood.
This activity is towards building up physical fitness and also develop sportive sprit in the children.
To facilitate the children in their out-door games, activities like musical chair, tricycle, cars, slides, balls etc., are provided.
Children are provided with play items like, puzzles, brain teasers, building blocks, peg board, pink tower, geo shoes, threading the beads and so on. All of which help them in finger dexterity imagination and creative skills.
We have hands-on experienced faculty who believe in “Children Doing but just not listening” to them. As the child life is dedicated to development, we define Education as a help to life. The objective is all round development of the child i.e., physically, culturally and academically.
The above are designed towards achieving the overall holistic development of every child
