Since 1950
Way back in 1950, a great visionary G. S. Sharmaji's first love had been education and he put his heart and soul into his educational venture and established SSVM school on Gandhi Jayanthi day i.e on October 2, 1950.
Though the institution was established with a modest strength, his strong sense of conviction and courage carried him all through in building and developing an institution of great distinction and reputation. Not only the Institution grew from strength to strength, now SSVM Group has over 6 schools with affiliations to CBSE/State Boards taking the student strength to over 4000.

Shri G. S. Sharma
Sree Saraswathi Vidya Mandir located at the periphery of Lalbagh Botanical Garden on Vanivilas Road, Bengaluru, was established in 1950 by the Late Shri G. S. Sharma, a visionary in Education. SSVM features a dedicated, experienced and qualified team of professionals who impart quality education by imbibing patriotism, instilling moral values and enriching students with our rich cultural heritage for an all-round development. “ In our Group of School, one institution is affiliated with the CBSE board, while the remaining schools are recognized by the State Board. However, to ensure high- quality education, the students across all institutions are taught using both the State Syllabus and NCERT books.
